Currahee mountain is in Georgia, USA. The word "Currahee" is derived from the Cherokee word which means stands alone. Although we stand alone, together we are stronger .
Our ethos was inspired by this motto just as it inspired the armed forces who trained there before arriving in Europe for combat in 1942. It is our legacy to them, to honor all those who have lost their lives in armed conflicts throughout the ages.

We are fully dedicated to working with our customers to help them grow their businesses. We source the required meat specifications, arrange the logistics and ship it directly. Many of our customers see us as their complete meat solution.
Paul Rossiter
Managing Director
In August 2009, Paul fulfilled his dream of owning his own business when he set up Currahee Food Consultancy. Paul has decades of hands on experience in the meat industry having worked in the Dawn Meats group for 5 years as production manager. In his 9 years in Irish Country Meats (ICM), he was instrumental in helping ICM emerge as leaders of the European lamb industry, a position they arguably hold to this day and his expertise in category start up and management was invaluable to the company during his time there.
His in depth and invaluable knowledge of every aspect of the industry coupled with his keen attention to detail are among the reasons why customers and suppliers partner with us. He is passionate about creating sustainable business and watching it reap the rewards for all parties involved.
Having hung up the rugby boots some years ago, Paul still trains keenly and is a youth coach with his local club. However, everything comes second to his beloved daughter Aoife.
Yvonne Delaney
Technical & Sales Manager
Yvonne worked for the Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland for many years as a social care worker. After taking a year out to explore Australia, Yvonne made the decision to leave her social care career behind and branch out into something new.
In 2014 she joined the team in Currahee Food Consultancy in the role of Technical Co-Ordinator. Yvonne has an in depth knowledge of all workings of the business and her specialty is ensuring our quality system is maintained to the highest possible standards. Yvonne's diligence has ensured our company has achieved an AA grade in our BRCGS audit every year since 2014.
In her free time, Yvonne loves nothing more than going for a long walk with her dog Chase and catching up with family and friends .
Paul Tritschler
Financial Controller
Paul worked in the financial services sector for several years before joining the team in early 2018 as Financial Controller. Since then, he has become an integral member of the team looking after all things financial as well as being our in house expert on all things Brexit.From finance to operations to logistics and sales, Paul is highly proficient in all areas of the business. Paul's addition to the team has enabled our company to grow and expand progressively since his arrival and his preparation for Brexit has ensured that there has been no disruption to the operations of our company due to the huge changes our European trade faced.
When Paul gets a break from providing a taxi service to his four teenage children he loves nothing more than sea swimming with the local triathlon club and supporting his beloved Waterford hurling teams.
